Internal Communications Manager, Accenture, 2016 -17

I managed the development of Accenture’s incredibly well-received Inclusion Starts With I video, including managing the creative agency who developed the storyboard, script and filming.

The video was originally developed for internal audiences, but after exceptional internal feedback, the company decided to use it across its graduate recruitment and social media channels.

My team and I developed the original concept as we analysed the results of our internal annual survey. We brainstormed how to provide a voice for our employees' biggest frustrations and insecurities in the workplace.

Powerful, personal Inclusion & Diversity video campaign

I played a key role on the rebrand of the Diversity & Inclusion team, and our flagship campaign was a video series that brought to life our strapline: ‘One Voice Made of Many’.

The purpose of the campaign was to bring to life the experiences and stories of our people, to bring to life DLA Piper’s commitment to everyone bringing their authentic self to work every single day. I found, briefed and interviewed two of the six participants in the video campaign, and I particularly loved my conversation with Verena (left), a proud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.

I created the internal comms approach to maximise the campaign, including writing and building the emails, intranet pages, Yammer discussion boards and more. Each video had exceptional engagement numbers and, more importantly, generated real conversations across international offices about identity and authenticity in the workplace.

Mental Health Week
Internal Communications Manager, Accenture, 2016 -17


I led a campaign that aimed to provide employees with helpful tips to improve their mental health and fine-tune their stress levels. The videos were 30 seconds each, and we rolled them out across both internal (Yammer) and external social media channels (Twitter). I created the concept, wrote the scripts and managed the agency who created the original animations.

Our fluorescent lead very much caught the eye. We received over 6,000 views internally, but more importantly received great employee feedback on how the videos helped people to de-stress.
